User Interface (Media) Design Intern
Motorola is searching for creative talent to join our Consumer Experience Design (CXD) organization, with offices in Chicago, Beijing, Sao Paulo, Sunnyvale and Seoul. We employ a user-centered design approach in order to optimize business strategies, build our brand, ensure usability and develop rich experiences. Our group is responsible for defining the physical and digital experience of Motorola’s mobile devices.
We are currently looking for a visionary and creative designer to join our User Interface design team in our Beijing office.
Responsibilities
- Planning, conceptualization, design, implementation and execution of design directions of user interface designs.
- Evaluating the scope of projects, making assessments of the scope of effort needed.
- Ensure projects deliverable timeline and design quality.
- Present concepts and explain design decisions.
- Drive knowledge share and creative flow of new ideas between studios and designers.
Requirements:
- Strong design education background with good creative thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, good organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Have excellent conceptual and interface/information design skills and strong composition skill with a refined sense of color.
- Must be detail-oriented, have excellent time management and communication skills.
- Have strong organizational skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, work in a very fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to take direction, work well autonomously or as part of a team. Able to handle multiple projects independently and follow creative direction very well.
- Able to meet deadline and deliver work on time.
- Experience using graphics tools. (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Firework, 3D software).
- Experience using the PC with Windows system and MS office skillfully.
- Ability to read and write English documents.
